Empower a Student
We are incredibly grateful for our sponsors and supporters who make IHEI's mission possible. All donations are tax deductible and are used exclusively for the support of our students and community.

Primary School
THe primary student matriculates for seven academic years (P1-P7), each consisting of three terms. At the end of the 7th year, the student sits the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) administered by the Uganda National Examination Board (UNEB). This examination qualifies for promotion to secondary school.
Secondary School
The secondary student matriculates for four academic years (S1- S4), each consisting of three terms. At the end of the 4th year, the student sits the national Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examination, also referred to as Ordinary Levels (O'Levels). This examination qualifies the student to obtain a secondary school certificate, and with strong grades promotion to high school.
High School
In preparation for a university education, the high school student matriculates for an additional two years (S5 & S6), each consisting of three terms. At the end of the 2nd year, the student sits the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) also referred to as Advanced Levels or "A'Levels"
